About Liana!

Liana Nicole Monaco is a New York City based Singer, Dancer and Actor that hails from Fairport, New York. She has been performing her entire life from kick, ball changing in the womb, a dramatic rendition of “The Impossible Dream” in her 3rd grade talent show, to local and regional stages as a musical theater actor, competitive dancer and tap soloist.

Liana graduated Summa Cum Laude, from Point Park University in 2022, with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a minor in Dance. While in Pittsburgh, Liana made her professional debut as a freshman in Bright Star at Front Porch Theatricals, and later performed in Curtains and Americana at the Pittsburgh Playhouse. After graduation, Liana was cast in Pittsburgh CLO’s summer season. As a proud Italian-American, she was thrilled to be featured as the Milan Stage Manager in the ensemble of Kinky Boots. She also played her ever angelic and feisty self as a Nun in Sister Act, which subsequently toured to Kansas City Starlight. Liana discovered that she is quite skillful as a swing while covering many tracks with Norwegian Cruise Line. Liana prides herself on always maintaining a professional and collaborative attitude. As a storyteller, Liana strives to connect with her audience through song and dance, passionate to provide a few hours of relaxation and joy.

Liana is a proud member of The Actor’s Equity Association.

Outside of theatre, Liana has many interests including listening to True Crime Podcasts, traveling, supporting the exasperating Buffalo Bills and the lazy Italian Men’s National Soccer Team, on-line window shopping, and most especially, spending quality time with the only creature with more energy than Liana, her perfect pup, Gizmo!
